A seated man with long dark hair and a red bindi, wearing an cream embroidered silk kurta with gold trim, sits on a white draped platform and hands a small white card to a bald man in a dark blue high-neck top who leans forward to receive it. A vase of pink and red flowers, a palm plant, a metal cup and a silver tray with papers sit nearby. Behind them a large banner shows a smiling man in a white turban with a red tilak and a black jacket. The setting is a wood-panelled hall. A portrait on the banner is labelled as a poster image, not a physical person. Two physical people are visible.

The seated man has long dark hair and a red bindi and sits on a white cushioned seat. Behind them hang blue and red draped fabrics, peacock feathers, and strings of warm fairy lights. Pink and silver tray and bouquets of white, red, and orange flowers are at the right and left. The seated man matches the Swamiji (probable) cues of long swept-back hair, ornate clothing, and rudraksha mala, performing a mala-giving blessing as a teacher.
