A photograph of a crowd gathered outdoors around a ritual bathing scene. A bare-chested man with grey hair bends forward while a sannyasi in red-orange cloth pours water from a metal bucket over his head, the water spraying in droplets. Another man in an orange-red dhoti pours from a second bucket tied with yellow cord. Behind them, devotees in red and orange garments, bare-chested men with rudraksha malas, and women with red bindis stand watching, some with hands folded in prayer. Green palm foliage and a yellow building are in the background, and a flat stone slab lies in the foreground.

A bare-chested man in a black garment, with long dreadlocked hair and rudraksha malas, bows with hands joined while water is poured over him from a steel bucket held by a man in white dhoti and shirt with a yellow cord. Around him, saffron-robed sannyasis and devotees in white and orange stand close, many wearing rudraksha malas and forehead markings. A group of women in white with amber beads watch from the left. Water streams down the figure from a stone basin.
