In the foreground a man with long dark swept-back hair, a white forehead mark, a red garland and a gold-patterned orange shawl over an orange robe walks with his eyes lowered; the appearance cues are distinctive, so he is a probable Swamiji candidate in the procession. Behind him men in orange and white dhotis carry a long red-draped pole with a trident-like staff and a drummer plays. On the left a golden ratha or palanquin with garlands and colourful tassels stands beside a tractor and a wooden cart. Several other people in white and orange robes walk behind, with a camera operator among them.2013-03-02December 09 20162016-12-09Night procession at a decorated street with a chariot-style float covered in marigold and garland arches. On the right, a man in a white dhoti with a bare upper body stands on the float beside a deity murti, holding a lit oil lamp and a small offering. Below him, a man in a leopard-print garment with a white flower garland, gold armlets, a red and gold turban and a gold necklace stands with palms pressed together in namaste. Nearby, a bare-chested man in orange cloth wears a rudraksha mala, and other devotees in white shirts and orange dhotis walk alongside. Strings of coloured lights and a tent canopy decorate the background, and the float is lit with small bulbs.2016-12-09September 10 20172017-09-10 +1 copiesOctober 10 20172017-10-10 +2 copiesFebruary 21 20162016-02-21
