In the centre, a man in orange-red dhoti and a dark orange shawl sits with palms pressed together in prayer, wearing a rudraksha mala and gold necklace. Beside him, a young man in orange-red garments holds a small censer or incense near brass plates with flowers and small oil lamps. In the foreground, a bald man with glasses wears a white dhoti with a gold border, a bare torso, and a long rudraksha mala, with his hands folded and eyes closed. Beside him a man with long dreadlocked hair and a beard wears a white cloth, rudraksha malas and a gold necklace, and sits before brass puja trays holding oil lamps, a small kalasha, coconut-shaped offerings, a bowl of red kumkum and a steel cup. Other devotees in white and green clothing sit behind a black railing, and large screens on the walls show a religious image. No individual here is clearly identifiable as a person from appearance alone.2016-12-12January 06 20172017-01-06A seated group of devotees performs a ritual in a bright hall, many with bare upper bodies, white dhotis with gold borders, and rudraksha malas. Two men in front wear saffron-orange cloths over their shoulders; the foreground man on the left is bald and clasps his hands in anjali, and the one on the right with glasses also wears a saffron cloth and joins palms. Others sit with hands folded or raised in prayer, and their faces bear white sandal or ash markings on the chest and arms. Brass oil lamps, small brass bowls, flower petals and mats fill the floor in front of them. Behind, more devotees sit in rows, some with white turbans and others with grey hair, while a small wooden table and chairs sit against the wall. This appears to be a group puja or satsang in progress.2017-07-23December 12 20162016-12-12May 24 20182018-05-24 +1 copiesMen seated cross-legged on a colourful striped mat during a ritual in a covered hall under bright lights.
