In the foreground, a man with a shaved head wears a rudraksha mala and sits in a white dhoti, face toward a second figure. Center, a man in white clothes and a yellow-and-red flower garland holds fruit in both hands, with another man in white and a green leaf garland beside him. At right, a figure in orange saffron robes and a long dark braid with a rudraksha mala is partly visible, and a man in white wears a gold necklace. Scattered yellow petals lie on a green-painted ledge at left. Behind, many onlookers in white dhotis, shirts and sari-clad women watch, with orange-robed figures and temple structures in the background.2011-01-16October 20 20162016-10-20April 23 20172017-04-23June 26 20142014-06-26A photograph of a ceremony inside an ashram hall. In the foreground a man with long, loose dark hair and a brown rudraksha-style beaded garland kneels with his back to the camera, head bowed, as an older man in a white shirt and white trousers, with a vertical sandalwood mark on his forehead and a black-and-white bead necklace, drapes a long garland of green lime-sized fruit over the kneeling man's head. A younger man in a white shirt and a white dhoti with a brown bead garland stands beside them, and another man with a sandalwood forehead mark stands behind. On the left, a figure with long swept-back hair, a heavy gold necklace and a brown beaded shawl over white dhoti stands with bangles. Behind them, several devotees in white stand and smile. A tall gold ceremonial staff and a gold-trimmed altar edge appear at the right, with a white fan-style cooler and a studio light in the background.2017-02-26
