In the foreground a woman in orange sari holds a plate of food. A large bronze vessel filled with white flower petals sits at centre. Behind them, a tall dark-skinned figure in an orange robe sits on a raised platform at a wooden desk with papers, near brass lamps, trident-topped ritual stands and hanging brass bells. Many wear rudraksha malas and have white tilak marks on their foreheads, and several hold up lit oil lamps or small brass vessels with both hands. Silver and brass puja trays with flower petals and offerings are arranged in front of them. A seated saffron-robed figure with a shaved head, glasses and rudraksha beads sits near the left edge. Behind them are stacked chairs, a pink curtain and a cabinet, with a golden seat and saffron cloth partly visible in the upper left corner.2013-04-25
