A seated figure in a saffron-orange garment with a red bindi, a rudraksha-style red and gold garland and a heavy gold beaded necklace places his hand on the head of a bald man in a white shirt who kneels with palms pressed together. The seated figure holds a small card or envelope. Behind them are a golden lion-faced throne, a decorated canopy, a large garland of yellow, orange and red flowers, and a silver trident. This matches the samaya deeksha context on the page, with a person seated as the officiating figure, based on the saffron clothing, ornate gold necklace and garlands.2015-07-17July 03 20122012-07-03July 19 20162016-07-19 +1 copiesA seated man in a dark crown-like headdress with a red-orange dhoti and draped pink-and-white flower garland places his right hand on the crown of a kneeling bare-chested devotee's head, as a blessing. He wears gold armbands, bangles and a gold waist chain. Behind him are ornate gold and silver throne panels, a leopard-print cushion, red and pink garlands, and a jewelled, embroidered backdrop. A second kneeling devotee with earrings is partly visible at right, and a microphone stand stands in front. The scene reads as darshan or blessing at a throne-side gathering. Two physical people are visible; the seated figure is an appearance-based a person with crown, garland and ornate golden attire.2018-04-21A seated figure in a red-maroon sarong and draped wrap, adorned with a rudraksha mala, gold necklaces and gold armlets, places his right hand on the forehead of a kneeling man in a reddish-brown kurta with an orange-and-red shawl.
