A man in an orange robe with a white jasmine garland and a red-and-gold tilak on his forehead places his right hand on the head of an older man in a white shirt and grey trousers, who wears a long rudraksha mala and presses his hands together in reverence. Another person in orange stands in the background at right.2018-05-31 +1 copiesA photograph of a ceremony on a stage. A long-haired man with a white forehead marking and a red tilak, wearing a rust-red shawl over his bare shoulders and a beaded necklace, leans forward and presses his hand on the forehead of a kneeling devotee in a beige patterned shirt and rudraksha mala. The seated man holds a small card in his other hand near the devotee's head. Behind them stand a golden deity murti, a bare-chested attendant in red cloth, and a dark-haired person in red garlands. Leopard-print cushions and a floral garland backdrop frame the scene.2018-04-25 +1 copiesA photograph of a temple ritual with a priest in a reddish-brown and gold wrap and a rudraksha mala, placing one hand on the forehead of a kneeling man in a white kurta with an orange-and-cream shawl and folded hands. The priest holds a folded paper in the other hand. Behind them stands an ornate gold altar with gold-framed decoration, strings of gold and jewelled garlands, and red and green silk drapes. Another woman in a rust sari stands at right, with a few partially visible figures at the edges. The scene suggests an abhishekam-related blessing, with the priest's rudraksha and ornate gold setting visible.2015-10-24May 03 20142014-05-03
