A photograph of a procession at a temple entrance in Varanasi. A young man in the centre wears a deep red turban with white flowers, a red-brown robe with gold border, marigold and white flower garlands and a brown rudraksha mala, and presses his palms together in anjali. To his left an older bearded man in orange robes with copper-coloured beads walks beside him, and a man in a pink-orange robe follows. A bell hangs on the right and a pink camera is held up near the top right. Several devotees in orange and red robes and white dhotis stand behind, with a tilak on a forehead visible. Swamiji (probable) appears as the central figure, identified by the red turban, red-brown robe, garlands and mala, and the page's Varanasi programme context.2015-10-03A barefoot man in a rust-red sleeveless robe with a red-brown wrap and gold-edged hem walks under a corrugated shed roof, with rudraksha malas layered across his chest and rudraksha bands on his arms. He has a white forehead band with a red tilak, long dark locks, and a beard. Around him, several young men in saffron-orange robes with gold borders wear rudraksha malas, white forehead bands, and upswept dreadlocked hair, walking in a group. The shed roof, metal railings and a tiled floor frame the scene, which appears to be a temple-precinct walk. A person in a white shirt is partly visible at the left edge.2018-03-17September 11 20152015-09-11May 24 20122012-05-24March 11 20182018-03-11October 03 20152015-10-03May 24 20122012-05-24March 28 20182018-03-28September 11 20152015-09-11January 30 20142014-01-30May 24 20122012-05-24A photograph at a crowded religious fair with red carpet and colourful pennants overhead. A bearded elder in a long-sleeved orange robe and flowing white hair stands at a metal barrier on the right, one hand on the rail. Beside him, a man in an orange saffron robe with a brown wrap gestures while speaking to a man in an orange robe and orange turban on the left. Two men in white dhotis with gold borders and beaded mala necklaces stand at left. Display panels with photographs and red banners line the background.2016-05-04
