April 30 20202020-04-30A priest in orange-saffron dhoti and shawl, with a bare torso and rudraksha mala, stands at left pouring or lifting a vessel over a golden deity setup. Three deity murtis sit on a golden ratha-style vahana or throne with red cloth draped over its base: a central figure in a crown with a green and gold garment, flanked by two figures in red and gold-trimmed garments with floral garlands. Hanging bells, gold pillars, and tassels in red, green, yellow and purple decorate the temple hall. A small metal pot and a seated attendant appear at lower right. The scene suggests abhishekam or puja in a temple shrine.2020-04-27 +1 copiesApril 27 20202020-04-27A photograph inside a gilded temple hall showing a priest in an orange dhoti and orange shawl with a bare upper body, standing with his back to the camera and applying a mark or touching the head of a deity murti. The murti is seated on a gilded peetha or throne with a golden lion-like carved base, wearing a crown, pink and red flower garlands and a green backdrop. Two smaller seated figures flank it, also garlanded. In front, a teal and purple cloth covers the platform with brass bowls, a kalasha-like vessel and offerings on a striped mat. The scene is an abhishekam or puja setting. Golden pillars frame the scene.2020-04-26November 19 20092009-11-19March 07 20132013-03-07July 07 20092009-07-07November 24 20202020-11-24April 14 20182018-04-14November 11 20212021-11-11December 30 20092009-12-30December 31 20082008-12-31
