The central figure wears a tall crown with a gold-and-red jeweled head ornament, an orange-yellow dhoti, a green and gold shawl, layered gold necklaces, pearl and floral garlands, and jeweled armlets. The figure on the left wears a dark red garment, a crescent-topped headdress, and a garland of white flowers. The figure on the right wears a black and gold crown, a red blouse, a yellow lower garment, and a white floral garland. Richly embellished gold arches, red velvet cushions, and jeweled ornaments frame the murtis. The figures appear to be sculpted or painted statues rather than living people: the centre figure wears a tall jewelled crown with a green gem, a red stone pendant and layered white and multicoloured beaded necklaces, and raises both hands in blessing. The figure on the left wears an orange-red turban, rudraksha-style beaded necklaces and an orange-brown robe. The figure on the right wears a black and gold headdress, heavy jewelled necklaces and a gold-bordered saffron-and-gold shawl, holding a small ritual object. The seat is draped in red and gold cloth with gold brocade. These are deity murti or devotional statues arranged in a shrine setting.2014-07-25April 29 20202020-04-29July 09 20102010-07-09Three gilded statues sit on a raised platform beneath an ornate gold arch with draped crimson and gold curtains. The figure on the left wears a brown-orange turban and rudraksha mala with a ceremonial gold necklace, and the figure on the right wears a jewelled crown with a magenta sari, rudraksha mala and bead garlands. These are statues, not living people; no printed name appears on the murtis.2014-03-17Photo 11728353 +1 copiesJuly 25 20142014-07-25October 08 20152015-10-08A golden devotional statue group seated on a plush throne-like setup against a magenta draped backdrop. The central deity murti wears a tall gold crown set with red stones, a golden tunic with an ornate jewelled necklace and layered garlands, and holds a trident-like staff in the upper left hand while the right hand is raised in blessing. Flanking figures wear embellished crowns, pearl and bead necklaces, and red, orange and maroon garments, with one holding a sceptre. The scene is a deity murti arrangement adorned for worship, with the statues rather than living people as the focus.2014-01-04
