Two rows of people line the road: on the left, drummers in red uniforms play drums beside women in colourful saris (orange, teal, pink, white) and children; on the right, men in white dhotis and uniformed police officers in khaki stand in a line. A small white temple tower stands in the background and a vehicle is parked near the lined crowd. Strings of lights decorate the trees and a flag-topped pole is visible at right.

Outdoor procession on a dirt road in a rural village under a cloudy sky, with bunting strung across the background. Several men carry tall umbrella-like canopies in orange, yellow and red with a white emblem. Men in white dhotis and orange or yellow garments walk alongside, along with a drummer beating a dhol at right. In the foreground a woman in a pale pink sari with a rudraksha mala carries a brass tray of rice with a coconut and a flower garland, while another woman behind her carries a similar tray. Several figures in saffron robes walk near the centre of the procession. The scene reads as a ritual procession with traditional offerings.

A festive procession walks down a red carpet under a canopy of colourful metallic fringe streamers and banana leaves, with flower petals scattered on the carpet. Two drummers in white dhotis and shirts lead the way, one at left with a tan-and-orange drum and one at right with a red-and-blue drum. Behind them a man in a brown shirt and white dhoti plays a long wind instrument, while a man in a white shirt and dhoti and a woman in a white sari with a gold border carry a brass or copper vessel with a green plant. Other people, including a boy in a dark shirt and figures in the background, follow. The procession is a devotional procession or welcome, with white plastic chairs visible at left.
