December 31 20092009-12-31A woman in a pale yellow-green sari with a dark rudraksha-style mala around her neck stands barefoot on a dark polished stone platform, facing a large old banyan tree with thick aerial roots and spreading branches. Circular stone platforms encircle the tree trunks on a red earthen ground. The person wears a saffron-orange robe, a long white, green and red flower garland hangs from the neck to the knees, and bangles or beaded wrist ornaments are visible on the right wrist. The person leans forward with the forehead resting against the trunk in a reverent pose. A white painted triangle is on the ground at lower left, and a faint circular logo appears at the bottom left corner. Sunlight and tree shadows fall across the scene.2006-12-29February 11 20112011-02-11A barefoot figure in an orange-saffron wrap and sleeveless orange top with maroon borders stands with their back to the camera, leaning against the thick, buttress-rooted trunk of a large banyan tree. A red and white flower garland hangs over the shoulder, and a saffron headband is tied across the head over long dark hair. Dappled shade falls on the sandy ground, with more trees and open land behind.2007-12-25August 16 20112011-08-16
