The figure wears a leopard-print upper garment, a dark brown dhoti with a gold border, and layered gold and black beaded necklaces. Fresh garlands of white jasmine and red roses hang across the chest and drape to the waist. The right hand is raised in abhaya mudra, and the left hand holds a small brass kalasha. A red tilak marks the forehead and the hair is tied in a topknot. Carved granite pillars and a wooden frame surround the figure, with greenery visible outside.2015-11-22A golden metal statue of a bearded sage stands on a pedestal, raising its right hand in blessing. The figure is draped in long garlands of white jasmine and red, pink and yellow flowers, with flower strands framing both sides. A brass kalasha-style vessel stands at the right side. The statue is set in an ornate gold-carved shrine doorway with granite pillars behind. It is a statue, not a living person.2015-11-21October 09 20132013-10-09September 11 20172017-09-11
