March 04 20192019-03-04A night procession shows a golden palanquin-style shibika carrying a statue of a seated figure. The figure wears a red-orange turban, an ornate silver and gold jewelled costume, and a large orange-marigold garland. The shibika has a red, gold and white jewelled arch, a green gold-trimmed cloth base, and a silver bull (Nandi) figure at the left. Above is a multicoloured tasselled canopy, and lights glow in the background. The figure appears to be a statue rather than a living person, so no physical people are visible.2018-05-31 +1 copiesDecember 31 20152015-12-31November 24 20152015-11-24Night photograph of a golden palanquin procession vehicle, the Swarna Shibikotsavam, lit against a black background.
