A stage performance of Bharatanatyam dance with live musicians seated on a cushioned floor at the side. Two dancers in red and gold costumes with long braids decorated with white flowers kneel facing each other on a polished floor, one holding a small object. Behind them, a vocalist in a teal and orange sari sings into a microphone, a woman in a blue sari and another seated musician play instruments, and a man in an orange shirt plays a violin-like instrument. A brass oil lamp stands at the right edge beside a red curtain. The scene suggests an arangetram-style recital.
