Night photo of an outdoor spiritual conference stage lit by overhead spotlights. A large banner across the top shows a portrait photo and Tamil text, and the yellow backdrop displays a central floral and rainbow motif with a deity image at right. A seated figure sits at the centre of the stage on a white-draped platform with small potted plants nearby, though the figure is distant and details are not clear. Several hundred? no, a dense audience of seated people in the foreground, mostly seen from behind, faces some in white and light shirts, fills the lower half of the frame under the lights. Side curtains, pink and green garland decorations on the poles and speaker boxes complete the scene.2005-12-11December 09 20052005-12-09December 09 20052005-12-09Night photo of an outdoor stage under a white canopy with yellow and green fringe and a large circular floral-style decoration in purple, green and yellow. A seated figure in a white cushioned chair on a white draped platform is wearing yellow and white robes; the figure is small in the distance and its face is not clearly visible. A large yellow banner with a portrait labelled with a Tamil name in the lower left shows a smiling man in a white turban and gold necklace, and the banner carries Tamil text announcing an all-world Dhyanapeetam spiritual conference. Above the stage is a blue banner with Tamil text and a circular logo. Stage lights hang from the canopy frame and a speaker stands at the left edge. The seated figure is a speaker at the event; whether the figure is the person pictured on the banner is uncertain.2005-12-09Three-panel collage of a night outdoor satsang.
