March 03 20092009-03-03A three-panel printed Tamil promotional graphic for the Jeevan Mukthi book release invitation. The left and right panels show the same photograph of a man in saffron-orange robes and rudraksha malas standing outdoors under a large banyan tree, palms pressed together in greeting, with a shrine behind him. The centre panel shows a close-up portrait of a smiling man with long dark hair, a red bindi and orange robes with rudraksha beads, labelled with a printed caption. Below is a Tamil quotation attributed to the caption, and a printed sales-figure line appears on the left panel. Top right carries the event heading in Tamil.2009-03-03March 03 20092009-03-03March 08 20092009-03-08March 03 20092009-03-03May 14 20132013-05-14A barefoot man stands on a stone-edged paved area in front of a large banyan tree with dangling aerial roots and a low concrete wall behind him. He wears a bright orange silk dhoti and upper wrap with gold-bordered maroon edging, a gold bead necklace, gold armlets and bangles, and a white and red tilak on his forehead. His long dark hair falls past his shoulders, and his hands are pressed together at his chest in an attitude of greeting while he looks upward and smiles. The palette is saffron, gold and maroon against the grey bark and ochre ground. The page title refers to a talk on the Bhagavad Gita, but no visible talk setting is shown beyond the outdoor stage.2011-10-26 +1 copiesJanuary 21 20112011-01-21January 23 20132013-01-23A smiling man stands with eyes closed and palms pressed together at his chest in a namaste-like gesture, outdoors before a large banyan tree with aerial roots. He wears a rust-red dhoti and upper cloth with gold borders, a thick orange-beaded mala with gold bead ornaments around his neck, a gold hoop earring, a white vibhuti/tilak mark on his forehead with a red kumkum dot, and his hair swept back. A low white wall behind him holds a small offering of flowers and fruit on a red patterned cloth, and he stands on a teal mat. Appearance-based label, a person: the saffron-orange beads, ornate gold necklace and swept-back hair match a presentation of the page's subject, though the face is not used for identification. Standing in satsang posture, he is the sole physical person.2013-04-09 +2 copiesA photograph of a single man standing in profile with palms pressed together at chest level in a namaste greeting. He has long, dark, wavy hair swept back, a small red tilak on his forehead, and wears a sleeveless saffron-orange garment draped over the shoulder, with a strand of rudraksha beads visible at his neck. Behind him is a large blue banner with white and yellow Tamil lettering on a white backdrop. Appearance-based cues (long swept hair, saffron clothing, rudraksha mala) suggest a person, though the figure is shown only in profile and identity remains uncertain.2010-02-14A standing man in saffron-orange robes and an orange turban stands on a stage with palms pressed together at chest level in a namaste greeting, head slightly bowed. He wears a rudraksha mala around his neck. Behind him is a large printed banner with a portrait of a smiling man in an orange turban with a red bindi and orange clothing, beside Tamil text. A white-draped table with white cushions edged in brown tassels and a small white board stand at the side of the stage. Red drapes hang along the top of the backdrop.2006-11-25
