He stands on a raised platform, speaking with his hands raised in gesture. Seated around him are older men in white clothes, one with glasses and one with a gold bracelet, and several boys in white sitting on the ground. Behind them are an orange-painted structure, a concrete block wall, trees and a dusty ground. A small blue sign with Kannada text is partly visible on the orange structure.2010-10-05November 23 20112011-11-23 +1 copiesOctober 16 20102010-10-16 +1 copiesOutdoor photo under a metal-framed open shelter with green trees behind. A man in the centre holds a black handheld microphone to his mouth while speaking, wearing a white dhoti with a green and gold elephant-patterned border, a red and gold sash, and an orange shawl with fringed ends draped over his bare shoulders; he wears a wristwatch and a gold bangle and has white sacred ash marks on his chest and arms. To his left a bearded man in an orange shawl and white dhoti, with a gold necklace of beads and a white tilak on his forehead, also holds a microphone and stands with folded arms. A third man in a white dhoti stands to the right edge, arms folded, with a gold necklace visible. A speaker is mounted on the shelter's top beam above them.2016-09-29September 13 20112011-09-13Night-time outdoor scene of a row of men in white dhotis and shawls with red-and-maroon borders, many with white vertical tilak and facial markings. Several stand with hands pressed together in anjali, faces lifted upward in devotion. A man at left, with a bare head and gold necklace, tilts his head back with eyes closed, and a man at right holds a round brass-coloured cymbal or kartal. Dark trees form the background. The setting suggests a devotional kirtan or temple gathering, with no a person candidate clearly identifiable by appearance.2010-11-12Photo 11702377 +1 copies
