A photograph of a tall, ornately carved stone temple gopuram at dusk, with a sculpted tower rising above a fortified wall. In the foreground, several people in dark clothing stand near a low wall, some partially visible at the bottom edge. A small flying object or balloon appears in the sky above the gateway. Warm evening light falls on the weathered stone of the temple tower.

Exterior of a tall, richly carved sandstone temple gateway tower (gopuram) with tiers of sculpted niches, figures and small shrines, topped by finials and a bird sculpture. A stone archway sits at the lower left, and a few small figures walk near the base. A smaller distant temple tower rises at the right under a pale sky. A low brick wall and a leafy tree stand in the foreground, with a metal lamp post at the left edge. Several small people are visible near the archway and at the wall, but they are too small to count with certainty.

In the foreground, a dusty road has a yellow auto-rickshaw at left, a parked motorcycle, scattered litter, and a battered signboard at right. A few small figures in white clothing walk near the gateway at left. Some tall sign posts with green road signage appear at the far left.

A motorcyclist rides by on the right, and a white van and a few uniformed figures stand at left. Several other people are visible near the temple entrance.
