A brick fire pit (homa kunda) burns brightly at the centre of the frame, with white rangoli-style kolam lines painted on the bricks and a red flower lying on the edge. A metal vessel with a long handle. Behind the fire, blurred red flower petals and the orange robe of a seated person appear at the edges. No face is clearly visible, so no one is identified.

A fire ritual in progress: a fire burns in a brick hearth whose yellow-painted bricks are dotted with red kumkum and scattered rice grains. A hand holding a silver ladle with a long handle pours liquid into the flames, and a copper-and-silver bowl sits on the left edge. Darbha grass lies on the bricks. The scene suggests a homa or yagna. No people beyond the hand are visible, and the background shows a colourful striped cloth.

Close-up photograph of a homa fire pit built from terracotta-coloured bricks decorated with white painted floral motifs. A flame rises from the centre of the brick enclosure with small dry sticks visible at its base. A small copper bowl containing liquid and a metal ladle sit on the upper left, with marigold petals and yellow flowers scattered on the bricks. A person in white clothing is partly visible at the top edge, but no full person is shown. The scene suggests a sacred fire ritual.
