A dim ritual scene with incense or smoke haze. In the centre, a shaved-headed man in white ceremonial dhoti and shawl, wearing a thick gold necklace and a tilak on his forehead, sits on a carved wooden seat with eyes lowered. In the foreground, a blurred figure in orange-saffron garments and gold-toned ornaments gestures with raised hand over a low wooden platform with a bowl and offerings. A brass oil lamp with a lit flame stands at the left edge. A red-upholstered chair with gold trim appears at right, and a microphone stand is near the seated man. The seated man's appearance does not clearly match the a person cues, so his identity is left uncertain.
