At centre, a man with long dark hair wears an orange-saffron robe and a white and orange flower garland, walking barefoot and carrying a rudraksha mala; he is flanked by ornate parasols with red fringe and colourful canopies. Around him, men and women in white ritual clothes walk with brass trays of fruit and flowers, and one man on the right wears a maroon-and-gold shawl and holds a decorated silver bowl with flowers. A young boy in a checked shirt walks in the foreground. Orange and white flag bunting hangs in the background and palm trees are visible through the open side. This appears to be a ceremonial procession of devotees.2006-12-29April 19 20082008-04-19February 05 20132013-02-05A festive outdoor procession under a dark blue canopy with a red and white border. A man with long swept-back hair wears an orange saffron robe, a multi-strand rudraksha mala, a white flower garland and gold ornaments, and stands centre holding a golden trident (trishul). Beside him a man in white dhoti and shirt holds a brass pot with a green leaf and a tray. Behind, colourful parasols with fringed edges, orange flags and saffron-robed attendants stand among a crowd of devotees in white clothes, several with palms pressed together. A young child peeks from the left.2008-12-28A procession under a covered pavilion with red and white bunting. At centre, a man with long dark swept-back hair wears a saffron-orange robe and a large white and red flower garland, with a rudraksha mala on his chest, walking barefoot. Behind him a bearer holds a long pole fitted with a white-fringed umbrella edged in red. Around them men and boys in white dhotis and white kurtas, some with orange shawls and rudraksha malas, walk along. Ceremonial parasols in red, green and yellow line the background, with a crowd and a pile of red powder on the left. Swamiji (probable): the central figure shows long swept-back hair, saffron robe, flower garland and rudraksha mala, and is presumed to be the procession's honoured guest.2006-12-29An outdoor procession on a dirt path strewn with red flower petals, with several people walking beneath ornate multicoloured canopies with gold finials and a thatched hut behind them. At the centre a woman in an orange sari wears a garland of yellow and orange flowers and holds her hands in anjali, carrying a silver tray with a green offering. Around her, men in orange robes and orange shawls walk alongside men and women in white dhotis and white garments, many with hands folded in greeting. Onlookers in white line the path on the right, some with palms pressed together. Scene reads as a religious procession, possibly part of an ashram inauguration.2008-04-19
