Below, a row of colourful striped cloth canopies and stage lighting rigs stand in front of a red-roofed shrine with a small sign. Strings of small paper lanterns or lamps stretch across the sky. No people are visible.2010-01-08 +1 copiesA festival procession on a dirt road lined on both sides by women and men in white and orange traditional dress. On the left, women in orange saris stand near drums and hold brass items; on the right, a long row of people in white clothing stands with palms pressed together in greeting. The road is framed by an arch of marigold and garland strands in yellow, orange, red, purple and white, with banana leaves at the edge. At the far end, a decorated chariot (ratha) with a deity murti and a golden-roofed temple-like structure are visible among palms, and a photographer crouches at lower left. The scene reads as a welcome procession for a ratha.2017-12-16December 16 20172017-12-16June 29 20142014-06-29 +1 copiesA photograph of a crowd of devotees standing behind a bamboo barrier along a dusty red-earth road under a pale sky. Behind them a man in white with a black head covering and a woman in an orange shawl look on, and a few people stand in the background near parked white vans and a dirt yard. Gold bangles and a wristwatch are visible on the hands working the leaves.2006-10-21June 09 20092009-06-09January 14 20182018-01-14 +1 copiesOctober 05 20132013-10-05Low-angle view of saffron-orange flags with dark blue triangular emblems snapping in the wind on tall dark poles against a pale sky, with a tall coconut palm in the centre.
