Seated in the foreground, a priest in a white dhoti and a shawl over his shoulders sits beside a bearded officiant wearing orange clothing, red and orange garlands and a rudraksha mala, who holds a ritual vessel. Behind them, rows of seated devotees in white and saffron-coloured clothes fill the courtyard. On the left, a golden throne with a red cushion holds a framed portrait of a figure in orange clothing and red garlands; the portrait is a depiction and no appearance-based identification is made. Marigold garlands decorate the foreground.2016-04-03September 17 20152015-09-17September 19 20152015-09-19October 16 20102010-10-16 +1 copiesSeptember 19 20152015-09-19A night homa at a fire pit lined with flower petals. A flame rises from the central square pit, with a standing priest in white dhoti and shawl at the top of the frame and several seated priests in white around the pit. One seated priest in the right foreground has a gold necklace and folded hands. A seated priest at centre right, with hands joined in prayer, wears white, with a rudraksha-style necklace and a shaved head. Brass vessels, a brass lamp and fruit offerings sit on the left and right. Behind the pit, a brass lamp burns beside a deity murti decorated with red flower garlands and a golden kalasha-like vessel with fruit. Strings of lights glow in the background. No clearly distinctive a person cues are visible in the frame, so the candidate is unsure.2010-10-16 +1 copiesA night-time homa in progress at a square fire pit lined with yellow and orange marigold garlands. A central priest, bare-chested with a pink turban and many marigold garlands, sits cross-legged before a tall flame and tosses offerings into it. Beside him, a man in an orange shawl and white dhoti speaks into a handheld microphone and holds a basket of wood sticks. Other bare-chested men in white dhotis and garlands sit around the fire, and a man in a green cloth bends forward at the back. Baskets of offerings and small brass vessels rest on the ground.2016-02-22 +1 copiesOctober 16 20102010-10-16 +1 copies
