Central deity murti figures of a seated Shiva and Parvati sit on a raised altar with a large Shiva lingam in front, surrounded by flower garlands and a golden arch. Standing murti figures flank the shrine: one in a crown and yellow-green garlands and one in a red-brown dress with a rudraksha-style mala. Brass oil lamps stand on either side, with purple cloth draped at the base and a red curtain to the right. At the lower left a bare-backed priest in orange and white cloth performs the ritual, and a red-robed figure is partly visible at the bottom left edge.2017-12-02November 18 20152015-11-18December 02 20172017-12-02November 29 20112011-11-29A temple shrine lit warmly from above, with a large deity murti of Shiva and Parvati seated together on a raised platform, adorned with garlands of marigold and yellow, red and white flowers and gold ornaments. In front of the murti is a dark stone abhishekam vessel, a small silver-coloured kalasha and a few small figures. Two priests in saffron-brown and orange dhotis stand on either side of the shrine; the nearer priest holds a lit camphor or aarti lamp, while the one at left holds a brass or copper vessel. Tall brass oil lamps flank the shrine, and a row of festoon garlands in yellow, red and white hangs along the lower edge of the frame. Carved grey stone pillars frame the scene.2015-02-17December 05 20142014-12-05A photograph of a temple shrine decorated with marigold and multicoloured flower garlands, with a large garland-framed arch behind two deity murtis seated together, one in white cloth and one in red-pink drapery with pearl necklaces. A standing murti in ornate gold-coloured clothing stands to the right with a flower garland. In the foreground a black stone pedestal holds a linga-like form, with brass lamps, bowls, and scattered petals. A bare-backed person with a garland stands at the lower right edge facing the shrine, with only a partial view of the back and head. Dark carved stone pillars frame the scene, and red curtains hang on the sides.2015-02-17 +1 copiesA photograph inside a temple shrine at night showing a deity murti group heavily decorated with yellow, red, pink and white flower garlands and a golden arch behind. Smaller figures stand beside the central deity. In the lower right, a shaved-headed man in orange-saffron cloth with a white tilak on his forehead and a beaded necklace stands near a silver tray of offerings, while a person in red garments stands beside him. Strings of pink lights and hanging decorations appear at the upper right. The setting suggests a puja or aarti at a shrine.2013-07-22A photograph of a temple shrine lit by oil lamps, with a large deity murti of Shiva and Parvati seated together under a golden arch wreathed in multicoloured flower garlands. A shaved-headed priest in an orange-brown cloth stands at left holding a flame, and another priest in a red-and-white dhoti stands at centre beside a shivalinga on a stone base. Brass lamps and a metal vessel stand nearby, with a small pooja tray in front. The shrine is decorated with a striped floral border along the bottom. No a person candidate is visible.2015-02-17 +1 copiesFebruary 17 20152015-02-17 +1 copies
