A photograph inside a temple shrine during a puja. Several priests in rust-red and orange dhotis, one with a white-and-black patterned headdress, stand at left performing worship before a deity murti decorated with multicoloured garlands in red, green, yellow and white. Oil lamps stand on the altar, and a small seated figure in brown stands at right near a garlanded arch. Carved grey stone pillars frame the scene, and flowers lie on the floor at the bottom.2013-11-17December 02 20172017-12-02 +1 copiesDecember 02 20172017-12-02 +1 copiesNovember 17 20132013-11-17January 04 20152015-01-04A temple shrine decorated with dense multicolored flower garlands in red, yellow, orange, purple and white, framing gold-toned deity murti and a central golden kalasha-style vessel draped in garlands. A priest in an orange-red dhoti and shawl stands at the centre, raising a hand toward the murti while two attendant priests in saffron-orange dhotis, one shaved-headed and bare-chested with white sacred markings, hold a silver bowl, a plate and a vessel. Brass oil lamps stand at the left and right edges. In the centre, a figure with long dark hair and a red turban, bare-backed and wearing gold armbands, stands with his back to the camera. The seated deity murti on a golden throne wears a crown and red-and-gold robes with jewelled ornaments and holds a raised hand. A garland of marigolds and red flowers hangs before a large colourful floral arch with yellow, red and white blooms. The grey concrete ceiling is plain.2016-12-14
