Overhead view of an offering tray on a blue cloth. A brass plate holds two pineapples, several yellow and green citrus fruits, and a few brown fruits. Beside it sits an open white cardboard box filled with round golden-brown sweet balls, some showing cashew pieces. Pink flower petals and dry wooden sticks appear at the edges. A red Lakshmi-branded box corner is visible at left.2008-11-11Close photo of a round steel tray heaped with fresh fruit: several pineapples with spiky green crowns and a mix of round citrus fruits, mostly green-yellow limes or sweet limes plus a few bright orange ones. Green cloth is spread beneath. At the right edge, a blurred arm in a brown sleeve and an orange cloth edge suggests a devotee or priest handling the offering. Fruit offerings like this are typical of temple puja or prasad preparation. No faces are visible.2011-12-20A photograph of a fruit and sweets offering on a stainless steel tray set on a white cloth. Green limes, a brown coconut and a pink lotus flower sit at the top of the tray. Apples, a pineapple and bananas lie on other dishes in the background.2009-11-20Overhead photo of an offering arrangement laid on a grey stone-tiled floor. Many round silver-rimmed steel plates hold fresh fruit: bananas, pomegranates, grapes, a pineapple, lemons and green limes, plus sweets, nuts, dried fruit, puffed snacks and a mound of white sugar. Small bowls of yellow turmeric powder and spices sit among them. No people or deity murti are visible; the setting suggests a puja offering arrangement.2008-09-03October 15 20102010-10-15November 05 20062006-11-05A close photograph of a round stainless steel bowl filled with fresh fruit on a green cloth: several green and yellow-green citrus fruits, orange citrus fruits, and three whole pineapples with spiky crowns.
