A photograph of a seated congregation in a tented hall during an evening ceremony. Rows of devotees in white clothes and orange-trimmed shawls sit on striped mats facing a raised stage. A man in white with an orange sash stands at the front raising a lit flame. Behind him, a gilded throne with a red cushion stands against dark maroon drapes, with a framed portrait placed on it. Colourful woven banners hang from the tent ceiling, and printed posters line the side walls. The seated people are mostly men in white dhotis and shirts, with some women in saris at the left.2006-10-29A photograph of a seated congregation in white clothes filling a tented hall facing a raised stage draped with dark maroon curtains edged in gold. On the stage, a figure in orange robes sits on an ornate gold throne beneath a small gold canopy, with a lamp and small offerings before it. Many seated people in white, some in orange, face the stage on purple mats; a few stand near the stage and a woman in orange appears near the right aisle. Colourful hanging cloth banners with patterned panels and yellow tassels hang from the tent ceiling, and a woman plays a violin at the right side.2006-10-21October 21 20062006-10-21 +1 copiesPhotograph of a seated audience of men in white clothes, viewed from behind, filling the foreground of an indoor hall at night. At the far end, on a raised stage, a figure in orange robes sits before an ornate golden throne-like seat decorated with garlands. Behind the stage hangs a large banner showing a portrait, flanked by red and gold swags, yellow cloth and tassel hangings. Two standing fans sit beside the stage and the room is lit warmly. The arrangement suggests a satsang or programme gathering. The figure in orange is seated on the stage at a distance; the appearance is not clear enough to confirm identity.2007-02-15December 25 20082008-12-25Indoor satsang in a tent-like hall with draped red curtains and hanging decorative fabric banners. A man in white stands near a microphone stand at the right-centre, and portraits are displayed on the back wall. The image shows people gathered in devotion.2006-10-29A photograph of a large seated audience in a tented hall facing a raised stage draped with dark maroon curtains.
