Outdoor street procession in a village lane lined with tiled-roof houses and palm trees. Leading the procession, a man in white dhoti and shirt plays a long brass horn, and nearby drummers carry drums. Behind them, a man in a white dhoti and white garland of flowers walks with a line of helpers and devotees. Several ornate palanquin-like platforms (ratha) are decorated with peacock feathers, white floral garlands and a colourful cloth banner with printed motifs. Many devotees in white and striped clothing line the route, and orange flags stand along the roadside. The mood is that of a festive religious procession.2006-11-13November 13 20062006-11-13November 13 20062006-11-13A village procession moves along a dusty road lined with palm trees and tiled-roof houses, with hills visible behind.
