Night-time outdoor ritual at dusk among palm trees. In the foreground a man with long dark hair, wearing an orange-saffron cloth with gold border and a gold-beaded necklace, stands with palms pressed together in namaste. Beside him are several men in orange robes with rudraksha-style garlands, also with hands folded. On the right a man in white dhoti and shawl with a red border holds a lit aarti lamp with flame and is accompanied by people in white. A brass plate with flowers lies at lower left. A central figure in a saffron-orange robe and orange turban, wearing a multicolour flower garland and gold necklace, holds a flaming lamp over a small pit with marigold and flower offerings. Around them, many people in white dhotis and mundus stand with palms pressed together in namaskar. A boy in white holds a silver tray of marigolds, and a man in an orange shawl and rudraksha mala stands at left. Women in white saris and a girl in white also join with folded hands, and a small brass lamp sits on the ground. Banana leaves and parked vehicles are visible at the edge.

Night fire ritual outdoors under a tree branch canopy. A figure in a saffron-orange robe and orange turban, with a rudraksha mala and bare feet, stands at right holding a brass aarti plate with a lit lamp in one hand and a brass handbell in the other. Several men in white ritual clothes stand and sit around a small open fire pit with brass vessels, a bowl of flower petals and a steel plate of offerings. A woman in a white sari at right holds white cloth or cotton bundles. Some men sit with palms pressed together in prayer, and a woman in white sits on the left. The scene looks like a homa or aarti performed at night.
