A photograph of a crowded indoor event under a ceiling decorated with pink, yellow and green paper streamers and tinsel. A central figure with long, swept-back dark hair wears an orange-saffron turban, an orange-saffron shawl and a white flower garland, with hands raised as if blessing. Around him, men in white shirts and dhotis press close, some reaching toward him, one wearing a maroon shirt at right and another in a lavender shirt at left. A woman in white at lower right holds her hands in anjali mudra, and devotees in the foreground raise their hands in greeting. A pillar stands at left beside a yellow banner with partly visible Tamil lettering. Roughly twenty people are visible in the scene.

A crowded outdoor scene under a corrugated metal roof supported by wooden posts, with banana leaves and onlookers visible behind. At the centre, a figure in a red-and-maroon robe and a red-orange turban wears a long garland of red and white flowers and stands among shaved-headed men in saffron and orange cloths and white shirts who press forward, some with hands raised. Onlookers in white shirts and dhotis fill the foreground and the background. The setting suggests a darshan or procession visit; the figure's face is not clearly visible enough to confirm identity, and the appearance cues are only partial, so the candidate is uncertain.2014-07-01January 12 20072007-01-12A large indoor hall packed with devotees in white dhotis and shirts, many wearing white beaded lanyard badges and rudraksha malas. In the centre foreground, a long-haired man in a red-orange robe wears a white jasmine garland with a red-bead mala and smiles as he walks through the crowd. Beside him a man in an orange shawl and dark-rimmed glasses stands at right, and a video camera on a tripod is at left. Woven yellow, orange and blue hanging banners decorate the white ceiling and draped fabric. The centre figure shows cues consistent with the presentation of a person, with long swept-back hair, saffron clothing and a rudraksha mala, though this is an appearance-based label only; the sequence of the frame does not establish a named event.2009-06-21A photograph of a devotional gathering in a plain white-walled hall.
