Outdoor evening gathering of many devotees seated on white cloths under a large spreading banyan tree, with lamps lit along the front. Most people wear white clothes; a few women wear orange or blue. Many sit with hands pressed together in prayer. In front are rows of brass oil lamps and small white-topped offerings arranged on white cloth, with a dark decorated object at the lower left. Several men and women sit in the foreground, and a large crowd fills the middle ground. Spotlights are fixed to the tree branches.2005-12-23Outdoor photo of a large seated gathering under a wide, spreading banyan tree with thick aerial roots and branches. Many devotees in white clothing sit cross-legged on bare red earth in rows, most with hands folded or resting on laps. Several women wear white saris and shawls, and one woman in front wears a pink headscarf. Small brass plates with offerings, possibly fruit and lamps, sit on mats in front of them. A white pole stands at the right edge. No single figure is clearly identifiable as a person in this view, so the candidate is unsure.2006-07-21October 06 20062006-10-06 +1 copiesDecember 23 20052005-12-232005-SWAMIJI-DOING-GURUPUJA-AARATHI +1 copiesAugust 03 20052005-08-03A large outdoor guru-puja gathering seated on the ground beneath a massive banyan tree with spreading aerial roots.
