Indoor healing session in a hall with white pillars and a painted temple-style mural with colourful deities in the background. A man in a yellow-orange shirt leans over a man lying prone on a striped mat, his hand pressed on the prone man's back; the prone man wears white. Nearby, a young woman in a purple and gold sari with a bindi holds a small object, and standing onlookers in white, yellow, striped shirts and colourful saris watch. Several other people are visible behind them in the crowd.2002-07-06A crowded indoor hall with cream walls, a wooden door and a barred window. A tall white pillar stands in the centre. On the left, a woman in a red saree and a woman in a yellow shawl attend a man lying on a striped green mat with a white pillow, while a woman in a grey saree hands over papers. A line of people stands along the right, mostly men in white dhotis and shirts, one in an olive shirt, and an elderly woman in a pink saree sits on a white plastic chair in the foreground. The scene suggests a healing queue, though no deity, a person or ritual objects are clearly visible.2002-07-06 +1 copiesA photograph of a crowd gathered under a corrugated roof at a procession stop. In the foreground at left, a bare-chested figure with long swept-back dark hair wears an orange-saffron cloth draped over the lap and sits with head bowed, with a red vertical mark on the forehead. Beside him, a man in a white shirt bends forward to hand over folded cash. On the right, an older woman in a pale cream sari with a nose stud holds a small paper bill and receives attention from those around her. Behind them, men in white shirts and dhotis, a woman in a purple-bordered sari, and a woman in a dark patterned top stand close together. A large metal lamp or camera housing is visible at the upper right edge.2006-10-29December 10 20072007-12-10January 12 20072007-01-12A photograph taken indoors in a large hall with pale yellow pillars.
