A pair of hands from the left pours milk from a gold vessel over its head, and milk streams down the body. Behind it are purple and gold cloth hangings and yellow marigold garlands, with a figure in orange robes partly visible. The statue depicts a figure in a pose similar to a sannyasi, not a clearly identifiable person.2010-12-19A photograph of an abhishekam being performed on a small golden-toned figure of a standing bhikshatanamurthy, a beggar form of Shiva with a bald head, bare chest, and draped loincloth, holding a bowl in one hand and raising the other in blessing, set on a lotus-style pedestal. A hand in the upper left, sleeved in orange cloth, pours liquid from a vessel over the figure, with a thin stream falling onto the murti.
