Three priests perform the ritual: on the left an older bearded man in white dhoti and shawl pours from a bronze vessel, on the right a man in white dhoti with a yellow sash pours from a kalasha-like pot, and in the foreground a figure in saffron robes bends over the base, pouring liquid over the image. The murtis are adorned with gold jewellery and necklaces, the female form wears an orange-red sari, and a deep red cloth hangs behind them. Milk streaks over the gold surfaces and the altar base.2010-01-01A photograph of an abhishekam being performed on a small gold-and-white deity murti.
