The standing figure wears an orange and cream dhoti-style cloth and a crown, and white liquid pours down its body and limbs. Two hands, one holding a silver vessel at left and one at right, pour or spread the liquid. Blurred red and yellow garlands and cloth appear in the background. No human face is visible as a subject; the people are only partially visible hands and an arm with a rudraksha mala.2013-10-13April 01 20202020-04-01October 13 20132013-10-13Water is poured over a golden metal deity murti during an abhishekam against a dark background. A human hand, with a bangle on the wrist, tips a vessel at the top left so a stream of water falls over the statue's crowned head. The murti has a tall jeweled headdress, red lips, a necklace and shoulder ornaments, and holds a disc and a conch-like object in its raised hands. No physical people are shown beyond the partial hand and arm.2017-01-08A metal murti of Lord Murugan (Subramanya) standing on a golden ratha or chariot is being bathed in milk. A hand in a gold bangle pours milk from a silver vessel over the figure's head and shoulders, so milk streams down the white-painted body. The deity wears a tall crown, holds a spear-like vel and a staff with a rooster-emblem flag, and is draped in red and white cloth. Two gilded attendant figures in orange garments flank it, one holding a lamp. The ornate gold chariot canopy and brass pots fill the background. Its arms are raised holding a discus-like object and a conch-like item. Milk or liquid is being poured over its head and body from a long ornate golden vessel held by a hand at the upper left, during an abhishekam. Behind is a stone pillar with carved detail and a blurred red structure. No living people are visible apart from a hand.2011-10-07April 01 20202020-04-01 +1 copiesOctober 13 20132013-10-13
