A framed printed picture of a deity pair hangs on a pale wall. A bare-chested male figure with a trident and crescent moon stands on the left, holding a bowl, while a seated female figure in a red and gold dress and crown holds a bowl on a pedestal. Attendants with a parasol are behind them. Below the frame is a yellow sign with Tamil text. No people are physically present in the scene.2008-07-29Photo 117172052007-GLIMPSES-OF-NITHYANANDESHWARA-PARAMASHIVA-AND-DEVI-PARASHAKTHIPhoto 11717509 +1 copiesMay 04 20072007-05-04 +1 copiesDecember 03 20182018-12-03May 15 20182018-05-15February 18 20162016-02-18May 14 20152015-05-14November 28 20182018-11-28A photograph of two golden life-size statues seated side by side on a carved gold lotus pedestal beneath a stone temple overhang at night. The male figure has long dark hair tied up with a white and gold-bordered cloth, a leopard-print shawl over the chest, rudraksha-style beads, gold bangles and a damaru drum in the raised left hand, while the right hand is held in abhaya mudra. The female figure wears a crown with orange flowers, layered silver and gold necklaces, drop earrings, a pink skirt with gold border and a silver waist belt, and holds a lotus-like emblem. Both are deity murti statues, not living people.1999-01-01May 14 20152015-05-14
