A young boy in a dark green shirt leans forward with his head bowed, a hand on the throne's base, while an adult in a white shirt with bangles reaches toward the boy's head from the left. A red and orange backdrop with a partially visible figure in saffron stands behind the throne. Swamiji (probable): the seated man has long swept-back hair, saffron clothing and a tilak, and is seated on a throne as the honoured figure.

Chequered woven mats form the backdrop, and a red-and-gold rug covers the platform.

He smiles and extends one hand toward a man standing at left in a white kurta with palms pressed together in namaste. Garlands of red and white flowers lie at the base of the throne. Gold-threaded blue drapery forms the backdrop, with a microphone visible at right.

He wears a sleeveless saffron-orange robe draped over one shoulder and is barefoot, placing his feet on a dark red mat with embroidered footprint motifs. He turns his head to the side and smiles. A figure in orange robes with long dark hair kneels and bends forward to honour his feet, while an older man in white sits on the floor nearby. Fruit, a bottle of water, a tray of offerings and books sit on a glass side table. The seated figure's identity is not established by appearance alone, so he is described by role as the one receiving padapuja; the photo page indicates a person was present at this event.
