He gestures with both hands while speaking into a microphone on a stand, smiling. Gold vessels and a tray with offerings sit at the left, with a stone pillar and greenery behind him. The image shows a discourse setting. A white and teal cloth hangs at the upper left.2010-10-30September 06 20122012-09-06A photograph of a seated man on an ornate gold throne with a large carved gold backrest and a pastel pink-and-purple cosmic backdrop. He wears a yellow turban with a green-and-white jewel brooch, a red and gold-bordered garment over a bare-shouldered upper body, and multiple strands of rudraksha-style beaded malas with gold beads. His right hand is raised in a gesture as he speaks or teaches. A red bindi marks his forehead and a peacock feather is visible at the top of the frame. Appearance-based label: a person seated in a teaching posture, with a discourse setting implied by the throne and gesture.2011-10-13
