A figure with long, swept-back dark hair wears an orange robe and a gold necklace, kneeling beside a large rough-textured stone block. Two men in jeans and watches have their hands on the block's edge, while a man in a grey shirt leans over a square copper-coloured plate set into the white floor, appearing to tend to it. Behind them are garlands, colourful striped mats and a small altar with flowers and a brass-toned object. The date 12 10 2005 is printed in red in the lower right.2005-10-12Outdoor ritual at a construction site with a square brick-lined pit. A bare-headed man in an orange robe with a red-bordered cloth pours liquid from a brass pot through a white pipe into the pit, while a man in orange with a long shawl bends over it with a small vessel. A third man in orange-red robes wears a thick red and white flower garland and gold bangles and bends at the pit's side. Standing nearby are a shaved-headed man in orange with a beaded necklace and a man in white with a red-bordered cloth and white garment, both with palms pressed together. Around the pit are scattered rose petals, a brass pot and a brass lamp. Behind, a crowd of men and boys in white shirts and white dhotis with mala beads stand watching under a tent, with a dark banner and a blue-and-white flag visible.2009-07-08 +1 copiesFEB-2007-01Nithyanandeshwara Paramashiva Devalaya +2 copiesJuly 29 20082008-07-29July 07 20092009-07-07 +1 copiesOctober 12 20052005-10-12Photograph taken from above of an indoor ritual at night in a plain concrete-floored space with a rough stone wall behind. Around the pit, several men in white dhotis and kurtas with orange shawls stand barefoot. One standing man on the right extends his arm and holds a wooden staff with a curved brass handle. Another man in white on the left holds a small object and gestures toward the pit. At the bottom edge, a person in white with an orange cloth leans over the pit. A small white object lies on the floor at the lower left.2006-12-11Outdoor ritual under a corrugated roof supported by wooden poles, with green trees behind.
