A photograph of a dusty, unfinished construction site of bare reddish-brown earth. Excavated trenches and mounds of soil and rubble fill the foreground, with a small flat concrete slab or stone block lying in the cleared ground at centre. Scattered loose stones and debris are visible, and a row of young trees with a few distant structures and a hazy sky stands in the background. No people or ritual activity are visible.

A photograph of an outdoor construction site with excavated trenches and dug earth. Two workers stand inside a deep trench, one in a grey shirt holding a red-handled tool, with another worker standing above and a third figure in the background. Piles of reddish-brown soil surround the trench, along with grey concrete blocks and coiled red and orange cord or rope. A taut yellow string line runs across the trench. Behind the site is a long, low building with a corrugated roof, white block walls, and ventilation grilles, with palm trees and a small tree in front of it. No a person candidate is visible.

A low-resolution photograph of an outdoor shrine or small concrete structure with a grey-white upright slab and a stepped plinth painted in red and white bands. A thin hose or pipe runs along the ground to the left. Trees and a faded wall stand behind, and paving stones cover the foreground. No people are visible in the scene.

Outdoor construction scene beside a white rendered building with a barred window and a small tree in the foreground. Three men work around a long rectangular metal frame or table supported on green-painted posts. The man at centre wears a grey shirt and dark trousers and stands facing the frame. A man at left wears a checked lungi and a light top. A man at right wears a rust-coloured shirt and dark trousers and leans over the frame. Loose sand, a blue tarpaulin, a bundle of dried grass and stacked concrete or metal slabs lie on the ground in front.

A photograph of a dirt construction site in a rural compound with excavated trenches and reddish-brown soil in the foreground. Behind it stand a white single-storey building with windows and a long low building with a corrugated roof and open verandah on the right. A few trees and a partly built brick wall frame the scene. Several small figures are scattered around the site, including a person in white near the left wall and figures on the verandah and near the building. No prominent ritual activity, deity or ceremony is visible.

A photograph of an empty outdoor courtyard beside a whitewashed wall at the Ulavara Pani temple area. Red and white striped low walls or kerbs run across sandy ground, with a concrete slab and a stone-paved path along the left edge. Two palm trees stand against the wall, and a blue tiled panel and a wooden-framed door with a metal grille are set into the wall at the back. No people or deities are visible.

A dusty outdoor construction site under a hazy sky. A narrow earthen trench runs diagonally through the frame, with a low concrete block wall built along its left edge and dark, stagnant water flowing in the channel. Scattered litter, rubble and a broken concrete chunk lie on the bare brown ground to the right. Several green trees with dense foliage stand in the background, and a flat, unfinished area stretches toward the horizon. No people are visible.

A photograph of an outdoor construction site on dry, reddish-brown earth. On the left, a row of unfinished grey concrete block walls under a metal roof frame stands beside the site. A long pale blue plastic pipe lies on the ground, with thinner dark pipes beneath it. In the centre, a shallow trench runs diagonally with a narrow channel of greenish water flowing through it, lined by a low cinder-block wall in the foreground. Green trees and a hazy sky appear in the background, with a pile of gravel near the middle. No people are visible.
