A man with long, swept-back dark hair and a white-and-red tilak on his forehead wears an orange saffron shawl and dhoti edged with gold, a heavy gold necklace with a large pendant, and an ornate gold armband; he smiles and walks forward with a bare-footed stride. Behind him a younger man in matching orange robes and gold-bordered cloth carries a silver vessel with flowers and a garland. Other attendants in white dhotis with sacred ash markings walk behind, and a golden staff with a tall finial stands at left. Overhead are palm-leaf decorations, marigold garlands, and colourful tasselled fabric, with spectators at the right edge. Elaborate garlands and ceremonial objects suggest a temple or festival procession.2011-03-02A barefoot procession walks along a red carpet down a covered hall decorated with hanging yellow-green leaf garlands. At the centre, a smiling man in a saffron-orange robe wears a white flower garland with red blossoms and a white head wrap, and holds his hands together in greeting; he is a person candidate by his saffron clothing and the flower garland, though his face and features are not used for identification. Behind him, another saffron-robed figure with a long beard and a rudraksha mala walks alongside him. Men in white dhotis and shirts and women in white saris carry ceremonial items, and a man in white plays a drum on the right. An ornate canopy and a gold-topped staff stand in the background, with a yellow banner held aloft.2008-12-30A procession moves along a red carpet through a temple hall with orange-painted walls and a corrugated metal roof. In the foreground, a man in an orange-saffron dhoti with a rudraksha-style bead necklace and gold ornaments walks with his hands joined, his long swept-back hair visible. Behind him, a man in white dhoti holds a large red, yellow and multicoloured umbrella with tassels over the procession. Several men in white dhotis and shawls with gold-yellow sashes and beaded necklaces follow, some carrying items, with a wooden box and a table along the right side. Framed photographs and a printed notice hang on the wall behind.2010-12-28March 02 20112011-03-02March 03 20112011-03-03A procession walks down a red carpet runner in a covered temple hall with orange walls and a corrugated roof. At the centre, a man in an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl, with long hair swept back, a rudraksha mala and gold necklaces, walks barefoot under a multicoloured ceremonial umbrella with a fringed canopy. Behind him, men in white dhotis with gold-bordered shawls and gold necklaces walk alongside women in orange and white saris. A man in white kurta holds a tall yellow and gold ceremonial standard with an emblem at the left. Decorated multicoloured ceremonial poles line the hall, and framed photographs hang on the walls. The centred figure is a probable Swamiji by appearance, based on the saffron attire, swept-back hair, rudraksha mala and gold necklaces, and the page notes his presence at this event.2010-12-28July 07 20092009-07-07January 1st 2013
