A photograph of a group walking up a narrow stone staircase toward a small shrine in a rocky hillside setting. In the foreground a man in saffron-orange robes with long dark hair walks in front, carrying a long wooden staff, barefoot. Behind him several people follow in orange and saffron clothing, some in white and light-coloured garments, with a few wearing dark trousers. Overhead hang large brass temple bells on a metal frame. The whitewashed walls flank the steps, and a red-and-white shrine with a red flag stands among rock formations behind them. Eight people are visible.

A long-haired man in a flowing orange robe with a red tilak on his forehead walks down a concrete stair path between tall conifer trees, holding a thin green sprig in one hand. Behind him, a group of devotees in orange cloths and orange caps stand on a slope; one woman wears a pink sari and a man in a white shirt stands among them. The scene is a forest hillside.
