A man with long, dark, wavy hair wearing a sleeveless saffron-orange top sits at a red-draped table, his hands resting over a white marble yantra-like plate with red powder, petals and offerings. Behind him, a framed deity murti in red garments, adorned with garlands and a gold necklace, stands in an alcove beside a brass oil lamp and a small wooden table with brass vessels. A marigold garland hangs on the wall beside a printed calendar poster. A second person in orange cloth is partly visible at the left edge. Brass plates and a kumkum tray sit on the floor in the foreground.A seated man with long, swept-back dark wavy hair wears a saffron-orange robe and a heavy gold necklace with a pendant, plus a gold bracelet on his wrist. He sits on a red granite ledge beside a dark stone deity statue draped with yellow flower garlands, next to a green curtain and a yellow-and-red patterned step. The floor is wet and reflective. Another dark stone sculpture is partly visible at the right edge. Cues include long hair, saffron clothing and ornate gold adornment, consistent with the page's Swamiji reference, so the appearance-based label applies.2006-10-01A man with long swept-back dark hair stands in profile at a carved stone shrine, eyes closed and hands pressed together at his chest in prayer. He wears a saffron-orange sleeveless dhoti-style garment, a rudraksha mala of brown beads, and a white tilak on his forehead. Behind him hang orange and red drapes and a red wall, with a small wooden table and a pink flower on the carved stone. The swept hair, saffron clothing, rudraksha mala and ornate stone-carving setting are appearance cues consistent with a person, shown here in personal worship at a temple shrine.2011-02-25Photo 111696362006-10-06June 04 20062006-06-04A seated man in orange sannyasi robes sits cross-legged on a grey concrete platform with eyes closed and hands clasped in his lap, meditating. He wears a long rudraksha mala with dark beads over an orange shawl and has a red tilak on his forehead. Behind him, a large orange stepped pedestal supports a black deity murti decorated with yellow marigold garlands.
