A photograph taken from behind a dense seated audience of devotees dressed in white, mostly showing the backs of heads and shoulders. In the background, a figure with long dark hair wearing a saffron-orange garment and gold necklace sits on a raised platform speaking into a microphone. To the right, another person in white with a dark headpiece sits near the platform. Tall brass lamp stands with ornate tops flank the stage, and an orange cloth hangs at the right edge of the frame.2007-12-23July 18 20052005-07-18Indoor hall during a seated gathering with an audience of several dozen people sitting on striped woven mats. On a raised stage at the left, a figure in an orange robe sits on a white-draped chair or throne with a flower arrangement and a small table nearby; the figure's appearance does not clearly establish an identity, so the role is seated speaker. Audience members wear white clothes, many with orange shawls or stoles, and several women have long braided hair. A camera crew with a tripod-mounted camera stands at the right side, and tall decorative banners with patterns hang on the back wall. Palm plants and a dark red curtain frame the stage.October 04 20082008-10-04A photograph of a large seated audience facing a stage in a hall with deep red draped curtains. A person in orange robes sits cross-legged on an ornate cream and brown patterned throne-like seat, with a small wooden stand and a bouquet of purple flowers beside them. Many attendees in white clothing fill the foreground, mostly seen from behind. Two electric fans stand at the sides of the stage and a video camera on a tripod is at the right edge. A yellow banner hangs at the top left. The orange-robed figure on the throne matches the appearance cues the page associates with a person, but the seated figure is distant and small, so the identity is uncertain.2008-10-04A photograph of a large seated audience facing a stage at an indoor convention hall with dark red velvet curtains. A standing speaker in a flowing orange robe holds a microphone and gestures with one hand, beside a whiteboard on a stand. Behind the speaker on the left is a white-draped raised seat with a cushion and a small table holding a pink flower arrangement and brass items. Most audience members are seated with long braided hair, many in white and cream clothing with some in orange and yellow. Potted palm plants flank the stage. The speaker's appearance is consistent with the page's reference to a person but the identity is uncertain from appearance alone.October 04 20082008-10-04A photograph of a seated audience in a plain room with pale walls and a wooden door. A standing figure in a saffron-orange robe, with long dark hair swept back, gestures with one hand while speaking to the crowd. Behind him hangs a white cloth with gold trim. Men in white shirts and dhotis and women in saris and pink or blue tops sit on the floor, many with hair in braids and flowers. A large cream pillar stands in the foreground. Posters and framed pictures are on the wall at left.2006-09-23A large indoor hall filled with hundreds of seated participants wearing white clothes and white blindfolds tied over their eyes, seated on red floor mats. In the left foreground a woman with long dark curly hair, wearing a bright orange-red sleeveless top and orange wrap skirt, stands facing the crowd holding a handheld microphone and raising one hand in a gesture. Participants in white, yellow and maroon garments sit in rows, some with hands raised. White pillars, red-brown columns and red shutters line the walls, with ceiling fans and lights overhead, and a small logo appears in the upper left corner.2009-02-25A seated speaker on a low stage in a hall with dark red curtains addresses a large seated audience of women and girls in white and cream clothes, many with orange-bordered shawls and long braids. The speaker wears an orange garment and a red and white flower garland, gesturing with raised hands on a white chair. A video camera on a tripod, two standing fans and a water bottle sit near the stage. Two framed portraits hang at left: one shows a figure in white with a turban, the other a figure in saffron with long hair. Appearance is unsure for the speaker, and no identity is asserted from appearance.2006-12-29February 25 2009 Nithyananda Spurana Convention2009-02-25A large hall filled with seated devotees, most wearing white and many with white cloth blindfolds tied over their eyes, sitting on a green mat. In the foreground a figure seen from behind wears an orange sleeveless top and orange wrap, long dark hair falling down the back, one hand on the hip, facing the crowd.
