A man seated on an ornate gold throne carved with lions, makara-like scrollwork and cobra motifs, backed by a deep red curtain. He wears a rust-brown dhoti-style garment with a gold-bordered cloth over his shoulder, a gold necklace, bangles and a floral garland of white and pink flowers draped across his chest. He sits on leopard-print cushions, with a golden trident leaning beside the throne and brass oil lamps on either side. Colourful tasselled fringes hang at the right edge. The seated man appears to be Swamiji (probable), based on his long swept-back hair, ornate gold necklaces, garland and throne presentation, and is presented as the central figure of a formal seated darshan.
