He wears a cream turban, a deep red silk kurta with gold trim and a gold sash, and white dhoti. He sits with palms pressed together in namaste toward a kneeling woman in a white sari with gold border who also has her hands folded in prayer. A devotee in white dhoti kneels at his feet, which rest in a metal basin of water, while women in orange and white saris stand behind. The setting suggests a ritual padapuja. In the centre, a seated figure in a red-orange shawl and orange wrap, with an orange head wrap, sits with palms pressed together on a red-cushioned gold throne with lion arm rests. The figure's long hair is not clearly visible; the appearance cues are only partially visible, so the identity is uncertain. To the right, a deity murti in a yellow-gold base is heavily garlanded with red, yellow and green flower garlands. In the foreground, a shaved-headed devotee in an orange robe with a rudraksha mala faces the throne, holding a silver tray with offerings. Guardian figures flank the throne and a red carpet lies on the floor.2013-11-13November 13 20132013-11-13A seated man in a maroon-red robe with a striped orange and maroon turban sits on an ornate gold throne with red velvet cushions and gold lion-shaped armrests, draped with a tiger-striped cloth. He holds his palms together in namaste and smiles, wearing a long gold bead necklace, bangles, and a small red tilak on his forehead. Flanking him are two large painted deity statues with multiple arms, gold jewellery, and ceremonial staffs, set against a blue and pink temple backdrop. Swamiji (probable): the seated man wears a striped turban, ornate gold necklace and a maroon robe, consistent with his role as the speaker at a satsang.2013-11-14 +1 copiesA photograph of a ceremonial blessing on a stage.
