Photo 11733040 +1 copiesA photograph of the Thiruvanaikaval temple gopuram, a tall, richly sculpted tower painted in pastel blue, pink, and cream with many tiers of deity figures. In the foreground a small stone entrance gateway with a shrine niche above showing sculpted bulls, stands before the temple doorway. Tall palm trees and leafy trees frame the view. Several people walk on the paved courtyard: a woman in a green sari and an elderly man in light clothing at left, a bare-chested man in white dhoti, a woman in orange and yellow sari, and a man in a white shirt at right. Devotees are visible under the doorway.2009-08-01October 15 20062006-10-15February 14 20222022-02-14Photograph of the colourful gopuram entrance of Kanjanoor Agniswarar temple, with tiered painted towers in pink, blue, green and yellow, a white bull carving with a deity figure on the gateway shrine niche, and orange-and-blue pillars flanking the doorway. In the foreground a crowd of about ten men in white dhotis and shirts, a girl in a patterned dress, and uniformed police stand near the entrance. A large banner on the left shows a saffron-robed figure with a crown or turban and garlands beside a smiling devotee; the figure's appearance is not clearly confirmed from the image.2012-05-16October 31 20062006-10-31September 18 20122012-09-18Photo 11730191October 27 20062006-10-27September 12 20122012-09-12May 16 20122012-05-16August 01 2009 - Kalpataru, Thiruvanaikaval, India2009-08-01
