A photograph inside a temple hall with grey stone pillars and painted guardian statues along the left wall. A large crowd of devotees sits on the floor in the foreground, mostly women in white, cream, blue and red saris and some men with bare upper bodies, many with yellow garlands. Near the centre, several saffron-robed sannyasis sit facing the crowd, and a man in a red garment with a long garland stands to the right beside a gated doorway. Behind them a decorated red and white canopy hangs over the entrance, and men in white shirts and dhotis stand in the background. A floral arrangement sits near the gate. The scene appears to be a puja or satsang in progress.2009-07-13April 05 20122012-04-05 +1 copiesApril 05 20122012-04-05March 09 20202020-03-09A temple interior during a ritual, with a large crowd seated on the floor in front of a decorated shrine. The shrine holds a golden deity murti draped with orange and red garlands, with a small deity adorned with flower garlands beside it and a kalasha-like arrangement of flowers and lamps at the front. A priest in white dhoti stands on the platform near the deity, and another shirtless priest in a yellow cloth sits in the foreground. Devotees include women in saffron, orange and red saris, men in white dhotis and an older man in a yellow shawl. A rainbow-striped banner hangs from a stone pillar at left and a banana plant stands nearby. A man in the center foreground sits with hands folded in namaste. Carved stone columns frame the hall, and a small plate of offerings sits at right.2012-04-05March 09 20202020-03-09Photo 11734140 +1 copiesApril 05 20122012-04-05A crowded temple courtyard at dusk with many seated and standing devotees.
